IPAF MEWP's for Operators Training (3a & 3b)

Course Aim

To provide delegates with the essential knowledge and skills required for safe and efficient operation of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP's).  Units 3a & 3b are covered (Scissor Lift and Boom).

Available in Bolton, Warrington, Durham, Swindon, Plymouth, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Redditch, Fratton, Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley, Leeds, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, London plus other locations.

Who should attend?

Those who use, supervise or manage the use of powered access scissor lifts, self-propelled boom lifts, trailer mounted boom lifts and aerial work platforms.

Those who need to use only one piece of MEWP should take the Single category course and those who need to use two pieces of MEWP should take the Dual category course. Call us today for more information about our IPAF Training courses.

Certification

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive an IPAF Certificate and PAL (Powered Access Licence) Card valid for 5 years.

Further IPAF Categories available are:

1a, 1b, MCWP, PAV, IAD, MM, H and PAL+ *

* PAL+ is additional category-specific training, aimed at operators working in higher risk or more challenging environments (such as steel-erectors or those working in confined overhead spaces).  The course involves much greater emphasis on practical training using larger machines.
