CCNSG (Client/Contractor National Safety Group) was set up in the early 1990's by a consortium of major industrialist from the power generation, steel, oil, gas and chemical industries. Together they standardized a core curriculum and a basic health and safety training standard which has became the foundation for the Safety Passport scheme.
